Fruit Salad

We had worked hard all week and felt like it was time for a treat so on Friday we decided to make fruit salad. Then Ethan said, "How do you make fruit salad?" Watch this video to see how it all turned out.

Greedy Elliot

Elliot is our class mascot but don't let his cute teddy bear looks deceive you, when no one's looking he's  a bit of a Greedy Cat!

On Friday afternoon we met Mr Jamieson and our buddies from Room 7 who came to read with us. The photos were taken by Ivan from Room 7 and music is by the Black Eyed Peas.

We're going on a shape hunt

We've been talking about shapes in Room 1. We noticed that there seemed to be shapes everywhere so decided to go on a hunt around the school and see how many we could find.

We read the Joy Cowley book - The Jigaree, and enjoyed it so much we decided to make our own version.

Bubbles!

We decided it was good bubble blowing weather so we set about designing bubble wands from pipe cleaners. Then, armed with detergent we headed for the field to test them out.
Would our bubble wands work?
Would our bubbles all be the same size and shape?
Where would they go once we had blown them?
Would we hear them pop?
